Welcome to Our Office!
It is our sincere desire that our patients receive the best dental care available and that the experience is a pleasant one for both you and your child.
You can prepare your child for their first visit to our office. Try to act relaxed and at ease. Children may sense a parent’s anxiety. Tell your child that we will “count” and “brush” their teeth. Please do not use fear-provoking words, such as “needle,” “drill,” “pull,” or “pain”. The office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child.
We will thoroughly explain each of our procedures to your child in terms that can be easily understood. Be assured that we will treat your children as caringly as we treat our own.
At this first visit, we will emphasize oral hygiene techniques to be practiced by both you and your child. A full examination of the teeth, gums, and bite will be included in this appointment. A dental cleaning and fluoride treatment will be performed by our experienced staff. We will happily answer any questions you may have.
